Calendar art 2017

This is my calendar art that I made this year and my family will put it on the wall for next year. I chose a ballerina for the silhouette because I like to do ballet so I chose a ballerina. I chose the colours because I saw my friend doing the colours and I like the colours so I chose to do the same. Then I thought I could do the blues in ombre and my art turned out like this and I am pleased with my art work and you should buy it as well.

Calendar Art Blog Post

This is my calendar art blog post. It took a little while to make it but it was worth it. I made it because I want my mum to buy it and I make one every year but I think this is the best so far. What I like about it is how I did the background and how beautiful the colours look and how detailed the feathers look. What do you like about it?

About Me

My name is Nixie Grace Buchanan. I have 7 other people in my family (not my whole family.) I have a 16 year old big brother, a 6 year old step brother, a 2 month old sister, a mum, a dad, a stepdad, and a Lana. I have 1 cat named Nemo, 2 turtles named Turtle-head and Boris, and a praying mantis with no name. My favourite movies are Mr bean's holiday, and Coraline. My mum lives in Hawke's bay and my dad lives in Sydney. I see my dad in the holidays and live with my mum full time. In my spare time I enjoy doing ballet, reading, holding my baby sister, watching movies, hanging out with my friends, having sleep overs with family, snuggling my cat, and swimming in the summer in our pool. I like animals and I am 10.
