Flag Task

New Zealand is in the middle of deciding if we need a new flag or not.

Read this story and decide which flag you think represents our country the best.

Write a justified opinion explaining your view.

I think that we should keep the original fag because…

Reason 1:Because...Each colour in the flag represents something.
Reason 2:Because...The soldiers in world war 1 and world war 2died with it.

Reason 3:Because...The money that they would use to change the flag could save some people in NZ from poverty.

My name is Nixie Grace Buchanan. I have 7 other people in my family (not my whole family.) I have a 16 year old big brother, a 6 year old step brother, a 2 month old sister, a mum, a dad, a stepdad, and a Lana.
